why the hell is everything so dead here? where is everybody?? HOW MANY OF YOU WILL GONNA START TO PLAY AION?? IT STARTS ON 25 SEPTEMBER 2009. LET ME KNOW PLEASE, I'M GONNA START FOR SURE ON EUROPE SERVER.

no other good game at the moment before SWTOR launches, and been thinking of starting a p2p game ;P

Ulf and I are staying busy with our house remodel but we have also downloaded the Aion client (6ish Gs with a 2 G patch). It took hours.

I probably won't spend much time playing but Ulf looks forward to playing. Just in case, I have made 2 chars, Odin & Sif. Each a cleric and one in each faction.

Ulf found a Aion private and he is interfacing with Becca (the head game GM, one of the forum admins, and may be the owner of the private).

The current status of Aion Enzura (the name of the private) is:
1. Atm, 1 server is up, 2 servers planned (no decision on rates but they are talking about 30X).
2. Limited actions in game (no killing yet) but movement, emos, and chat are active. GMs port peeps to flying areas from time to time for the fun of it while waiting for patches from the Aion Emu team (a team working on code, etc. for Aion privates, which includes Becca). Ulf is in their forums/live chat often (as Ulfrun) helping newbs get their launchers working, atm.

The process for logging into the Aion Enzura server is:
1. Get the US/EU retail client (Aion Enzura has a link) and do the NC Soft update. Do NOT use the NC Soft launcher.
2. Get the Aion Enzura launcher by downloading the "retail client patch 25-08-09" from Aion Enzura's download page (in the nav bar). Or here is the link http://www.aion-enzura.com/portal/index.php?categoryid=6&p13_sectionid=1&p13_fileid=3

SAVE IT TO YOUR DESKTOP.

If you use Firefox or a browser other than Explorer, your browser may auto save it to a download folder. In that event, find where the patch was saved, copy it and paste it on your desktop. FYI: the launcher ("retail client patch 25-08-09") is an exe file that launches the game when double clicked, so it is NOT necessary to put it in the Aion game folder.

I'll check in from time to time to see what's up. Ulf's friend is also planning to play this private and they have visions of staying together in a Legion, for sure. It may be fun to revamp this forum for that purpose. We will see.

Stryke, you do realize that Aion is the next generation L2, right?

Glad to see that soooo many wanna play this Aion. Which I cant wait till it starts

@Odin hell old buddy, didnt saw ya such active on messenger these days. Cant say that is the next generation of L2 because of Faction, game play, game mode and many other things which arent lineage2 at all. But its something PvPvE which I like and I love. Also its something like L2+wow but in the end its just AION : The Tower Of Eternity!!

About privates yes.. I did checked a lot of them, but none of them works yet. So I couldn't stand it anymore, I've made the pre-order and now I'm awaiting for open beta (it will start in the earlier days of September 1 or 6 dunno exactly for about 2 weeks) so I can test what char I like the most and his abilities. I will play on Europe server (the 1st one whos gonna accept clients connections )

Hehe, yea L2 is diff from Aion no doubt but is NC Soft and has strong L2 influence awa a wow & pw influence. Probably just MMO evolution tho.

Anyway, as with all privates (and many officials), there surly will be growing pains.

BTW this forum can be as you wish. There is no reason to think this forum can't be a place for Aion, off and private, awa whatever else we want.

Re: MSN. I hardly ever open it. I read emails maybe once a month. It had been over 2 weeks for a email download when I saw your email in my main program.

Yeah im studying AION since 1 month ago, so I had to check many wikies, info sites and such, learning as much as I can about it, cuz I don't wanna be a totally noob tho, since I have a Legion with nice expectations. hardcore of course ;D
